The course develops modern thinking about business, society, and groups for youth and young adults who want to pursue their careers within a business and technical vocational program. The program objective is to generate more resourceful labor and capacity building that understand the society they live and work in.
The program will give the students skills that make them able to handle the everyday challenges they meet in the society as skilled workers.
Sociology is the scientific study of society, including patterns of social relationships, social interaction, and culture.
The course focuses on sociology include social stratification, social class, social mobility, religion, secularization, law, sexuality, and deviance. As all spheres of human activity are affected by the interplay between social structure and individual agency, the course includes topics like health, economy, institutions, the Internet, education, and social capital.
The students that complete will achieve a document that is a part of the education for skilled workers on level Tec 1 (International level ISCED 2011: level 2, first year).
